Well, it's my last day of work. At least, last day of paid work. Starting tomorrow, I begin my adventures of being a stay at home mom. And I'm thrilled!
But don't get me wrong, this is probably the most terrifying day of my life... what on earth am I going to do with a two year old and a baby 24/7? I was thinking about making a schedule for the week. Days we go to parks, time spent playing with letters and numbers, time spent outside, dance party mania! I'm just worried that I'm completely overthinking this...

Take a deep breath, its going to be ok... congrats on this new stage of your life
1Oh, just go with the flow and don't worry too much. Don't forget to get some naps in while the kiddies are also napping- they need an energized mom, too! Have fun.
2Yep, have fun with it! If scheduling stuff makes you feel better, go for it. But also be cool with going with the flow when things don't stay on schedule!
3Just enjoy the ride. you can never really plan ahead because something will always change. Just enjoy it, and love them and have fun with them. They grow to fast.
4Haha, I know how you feel. I've been a stay at home mom for awhile now. Suebree is right, enjoy it, because they are only this young once. Also, if you think you might start going a little batty, you might want to consider joining a mom's club - you can find which ones are in your area, like MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Mothers & More, or The Moms Club. Good luck and remember that we are always here for you!
5I'm sooo jealous!
Enjoy yourself and your children!!!!!
6Thanks so much, everyone! Already, that's a lot of great advice.
I'm definitely going to take it a day at a time. I think that the goals I'm going to set for myself are going to be simple. Like... get to the park a couple times a week. And, try to make sure I'm dressed before the kids get up.
7That's good start.
the park is always a good idea. The kids have fun and wear
themselves out, and when you get back home they will just be ready for a nap so it allows you some free time for yourself too. Win win situation LOL It'll be great. Just remember, enjoy it.
