We started my son on a bottle earlier than 8 weeks, but he did not like the Playtex either. We did Dr Browns and he did well with those. I suspect she is just used to the breast and you need to keep trying offering the bottle. I wish I had better advice for you. Good Luck!

Have you tried giving her the bottle or only your husband? Eventually she's going to get hungry and take the bottle. Maybe next time she's hungry, skip nursing and just keep trying the bottle. Put some milk on her lips so she can taste it. You're probably going to need to pump a little. I know it's frustrating. My sons would not take a bottle from me for the longest time (but they took a bottle from my husband sooner), when I cut back on nursing them around 6 months, and started using the bottle more and more and they eventually got it. It seems like you've tried many nipples so I don't think it's a nipple thing, she just knows where the good stuff is!

Have you tried the bottle at all different times of the day & night? I know how tired you or your husband might be in the middle of the night but Julia might be just hungry enough and tired that she'll take the bottle. When my daughter was about four weeks old I had mastitis and couldn't breast feed for about a week. So we had to just push our way through with pumped milk. After I was better she feed either way. We had a lactation expert who was great so check with your doctor or hospital. Good luck!

my son wouldnt drink from a bottle either from early on but i jus kept tryin and e eventually started takin water and juice from it...no formula tho, nor breast milk...not even wen e was really hungry. but u should keep tryin,she mite jus need to get accustomed to d nipple
