I'm not worried, but my son is 4 1/2 so he doesn't put things in his mouth anymore. I know that there are other ways to get lead poisoning but he's just at much less of a risk because he isn't shoving everything he touches in his mouth. If he were younger or if we had another baby I think this might concern me more. Also, I know the recalls are coming from China right now, but I'm sure there have been recalls in the past from many other countries.

My child is good about not putting things in her mouth and I have a pretty good eye on her at all times. Not every toy that gets recalled is going to fall apart on you becaues you have it...plus some of the reasons why make sme wonder just what those kids were doing.

yes, mine are a little older for the recall (even though my daughter does still put some things in her mouth a 2 1/2). Still, it makes you think what else in your home isn't safe. We obviously can't put our trust in the toy companies or regulators if this got past them.

I'd have to say I'm not worried. I mean, I'll definitely be more careful and look over the toys that I buy for Brae. But I'm not going to let myself be paranoid about toys, I'm neurotic enough as it is.

no im not worried, ill just be careful with the toys, like bringmeup said im not going to ler myself be paranoid. i also think that our country has this way of creating hysteria over things so being careful and watch what my son is playing with is better then sitting and worrying which wont accomplish much.

At first I was a lot worried, but I checkec the list and we are okay. I know the regs will get tougher now that this has happened - so it will be better in the future.
