Who Is the Disciplinarian in Your Family?
Couples are partners in crime, but when it comes to parenting they sometimes have to take on the roles of good cop/bad cop to keep their brood in line. If you and your spouse play opposing roles in dealing with your kids, you’re in good company, as it seems that someone has to lay down the law. No matter what your method of discipline, are you the disciplinarian in the family or is your partner?
How long did you breastfeed for?
Just curious... there is no right and wrong answer, regardless of what "they" say. I read we are well into a 14 month recession, and you can't turn on the tv without hearing about the economy and lost jobs. We are cutting back a little on gifts this year. I've still picked up toys I know my boys will like, but I picked up most things on really good deals.

I was at the mall recently with my 3 year old, when we saw a little girl about his age wearing one of these harnesses and her mother holding the leash (is there another word?). My son was asking a bunch of questions as to what he saw and why the little girl needed to be on it. I just told him that his Mommy wants to keep the little girl safe.
I hate ironing
So I'm cleaning my bathroom this morning, and as I'm getting dizzy from the noxious fumes from all the cleaner products that I've just sprayed everywhere,I start wondering what I hate more, cleaning bathrooms or ironing. I'd have to say ironing, and I"m not even sure why. I just hate doing it and try to avoid it at all costs.
Does your child sleep with a security blanket or special toy?

My parents would like to buy my 3 year old some sort of educational tv system. I know my son will love it, he's actually pretty good at using the computer, and I like the fact that they are all educational.
