target.comThis bear is great, it plays womb/heartbeat noises for newborns, lullabies and nature sounds for bigger babies. My daughter was always soothed by the heartbeat sound when she was first born, now that she's almost 3 months she loves the lullaby music while she's in her swing.

oldnavy.comWhile socks are an obvious item, these little cuties from Old Navy actually stay on. Even when my baby was still a tiny 7-pound newborn these sock did not slip off those itsy bitsy feet, they actually stretched up to her knees and kept her legs warm too!

toysrus.comSaline nasal drops make it so much easier to suction out those nasty boogers that clog baby's nose. Even if your baby does not have a cold their noses still can get plugged up with boogers. You just put one or two drops of this stuff in each nostril & then suction.

toysrus.comThis may be to obvious to make the list but every new parent needs a rear-facing infant car seat. Most states have laws that will not allow the hospital to discharge you without one of these. Babies must be in a rear-facing car seat until they are at least 20 lbs & 1 year old.

toysrus.comThis thing is THE best, I love mine & use it all the time! It snuggles baby in close to your chest where they can hear your heart beat & be comforted while leaving your hands free. I use mine on walks, grocery shopping, even just doing chores around the house.

toysrus.comBaby nail clippers- most babies come out with their nails pretty long already from being surrounded by amniotic fluid for so long & many times the hospital won't cut their nails for you. If you don't do it fairly quickly they'll start scratching their little faces & then it just breaks your heart. This pair comes with magnifying glass attached so you can actually see those tiny little fingertips (believe me, it can still be hard!).

toysrus.comThis contained several of my favorite products and I still use them today. My baby had super sensitive skin and this was the only stuff that didn't irritate. I even tried Johnson's and Johnson's with no luck.

gerberchildrenswear.comThese are a must have for babies! The mittens cover their nails so they don't scratch themselves, and the side snaps make it easier to put on.
